The PLAY has 512 megabytes — that’s 10 hours of audio! The audio does not have to be equally distributed between the buttons. Each number you use can hold as much or as little audio as you wish, with a total length of 10 hours.
The PLAY device can last between 2.5 hours to 5 hours on continuous play depending on the sound level. When set on the highest volume, the PLAY will operate continuously for 2.5 hours. When set on the lowest volume, it will operate continuously for 5 hours.
When the battery is depleted it takes up to 1 hour to get back to fully charged. When your PLAY device is charging, the light at the top of the device will be flashing red. You’ll know when it’s fully charged when the light at the top of the device stops flashing and turns off.
Yes. We even recommend that if you have a recording from someone special (like a child at a precious age or an elderly loved one) that you back up the recordings by plugging the USB charging cable into your computer. Once plugged in, you’ll notice a new external drive on your computer(just like a memory stick). You can then copy and paste the files from that drive to a folder to save or even copy them onto another PLAY device.
Yes. All you need to do is slide the selector switch on the right side of the device to REC and enter the same number where it was previously recorded and then momentarily pressing the Pause/Play button (II >>) button to record over it. WARNING: Your previous recording will be deleted permanently.
Slide the selector switch on the right side of the device to ‘PLAY’ and enter the number (between 1 - 999) you intend to use for your new recording and then momentarily press the Pause/Play button the (II >>). Make sure there’s no recording there already (or it has a recording you’d like to record over). Next, slide the selector switch to ‘REC’ and enter the number you intend to use for your recording and press the II >> button. Wait for the beep — the blue light at the top of the device will go on. Start recording your audio! You might want to do a test recording — see how far from your mouth (or sound source) you prefer the device to be and how loud you’d like to speak. Continue recording until you are finished, then simply press the II >> button a second time. Slide the selector switch to PLAY, enter your number, and press the II >> button to hear your recording.
Of course. Simply enter the desired number and the II >> button to begin playing your audio — at any time during playback feel free to press the II >> button a second time to pause playback. To start playback from where you left off, just press the II >> button again.
Yes. In between the REC and PLAY slide switch on the right side of the device is an OFF position. This is great for when you travel and pack your PLAY device or want to save battery power.
The orange clip is designed so that the device can be attached to the back of any hardcover book or album. It’s removable so you can keep it attached to a book, or just place device on a shelf nearby.
Yes. You will need all the files to be mp3 files. If they are videos (mp4 or MOV) there are programs you can find to convert to audio only - mp3. You will have to name the files using the protocol of the PLAY. The easiest way to get the protocol is to record a test file using the mic and associated with a selected number on the keypad. Plug the PLAY into your pc and access its memory. Take note of how the file is formatted with the number association. Now rename the mp3 file you wish to import using the same protocol. Disconnect and enter the number and press the ||> button and confirm all works.

Item ordered did NOT work. Spoke with someone at the company and they offered to send out a new one. I asked if I can choose a different item from the same bundle with the same cost amount and was told yes, and to add it to my email request for a replacement.
At first, nothing was ever received, I sent another email letting them know and added the item number for replacement wanted again and attached it to my original email but they sent the same item that came originally which did not work, and not the one I ordered for a replacement.

The unit works good. The audio is good enough for note taking. Plan to try it on an upcoming trip to Asia for taking notes on photographs and then transcribing to meta data.
This thing is pretty neat. My husband kind of misplaced it when it arrived and I wasnt sure what happened to it, but while doing some deep cleaning over past few days, there it was, it fell behind our deep freezer so my guess is, my hubby placed the mail on top then some point went into freezer, maybe a few times, until stuff slid off & landed behind there. But luckily it was packaged nice & snug in a durable box, because there's no damage at all.

This is such a darling device! I came across it on Vine, and it sounded perfect for reading books to my nephew. It's so easy to use, about the size of a small TV remote, lightweight, and once you breeze through the instructions, it's all very intuitive. You have 2.5 hours of recording, and that can be spread over the various buttons however you like. You can record over the recordings, and you can back things up on your computer via the USB cord, which is also the charger. There's a clip so you can attach the device to a book, and your child can match the stickers. For example, record chapter 1, and use the kitty sticker. Place the kitty sticker somewhere on the chapter page, and your child can match the sticker in the book to the kitty sticker on the device.
This is such a great idea for parents or grandparents to be able to always read to their children/grandchildren, even when they're not around. It's simple to record and I've had no issues with time running out when recording children's books. They provide stickers you can apply to the books you read so the child can match the button icon to the book sticker to hear the correct story. You can easily record over the stories so you can change books as your child grows and their favorite books change (there's a small switch on the side to put into record or play mode). I'm excited to record more books for my toddlers to listen to when I have to travel away from them. The recordings are very clear and the sound quality is excellent.

This is such a great voice recorder with limitless uses. It is super simple to use and has a detailed and easy to understand instruction booklet with it. They included a carrying strap and clip as well. I love that I can upload the recordings to my computer. This would make a great gift for so many from students to grandparents. One of the things I am using it for is to record my life and family stories, family recipes, advice and thoughts for my children and grandchildren to have when I am gone. I also am using for business reminders which eliminates the thousands of sticky notes everywhere. The battery lasts a long time as well. Great value!
I bought this for my nephew who lives in a different city so I could read his favorite books to him while I’m not in town. It’s really easy to record (and re-record) on each of the 12 buttons. I used some of the buttons for story time and some to practice colors, numbers, and sounds. It’s a great toy for kids who love the TV remote since it looks similar and has buttons to press.
